These are my amazing grandchildren who inspire me with their courage and their caring. Haiti and the world are better for their having been there. I think the ripple effect will continue to spread their love and their caring in Haiti and many will benefit especially the children. God bless all who support this work.

Dear Christa: I was so pleased to read the follow up article in the May 3, 2010 People magazine. I had e-mailed People but was unable to get them to have you contact me. The picture of you with your mother really hit home for me as you look exactly like my daughter, Tracy, who was murdered in Florida in 2006. I would love to send you her picture - you won't believe the resemblence either. How you came so far in such a short time is amazing! And your attutude - unbelievable but Tracy was that way, too. I will certainly donate to your charity but if there is any way I could communicate with you I would be so grateful. God Bless You.

These are inspiring stories! I read about Christa's story in the Daily News, have heard more via blogpost by Kim Rich, and I still remember my son Aryeh taking violin with Christa's brother years ago. So nice to read about what you're all up to!

Dear Christa and Julian:
Thank you for the wonderful work you were doing in Haiti before the earthquake and your continued outreach to those in need. You inspired the Alaska Peace Center to host a fundraiser in Fairbanks, Alaska in February and we raised $1,000 to be shared between Christa's Angels and Partners in Health - Stand With Haiti. We would be honored to have either or both of you as guests in Fairbanks to share your stories and inspiration. You may reach us at 907-374-2822 or info@alaskapeace.org.

What a fine thing to do. I don't know you, but I do know your paternal grandparents and your mom and aunt Mary. It is not difficult to see their influence on you ~and that you are an extraordinary angel, yourself.

Your story is so touching and I am grateful to you for sharing it. You also showed such depth of compassion, gratitude, and efficiency in getting this website and the foundation up and running so quickly. I feel privileged to that you've provided the means for those of us touched by the story to donate so easily. Blessings to you and all those whose lives you help change.

Hello,

My name is Heather Aronno, and I have been very touched by Christa's story and the efforts of this organization. She is a very inspiring person.

The reason I am contacting you is that I am one of the organizers for a monthly networking meeting called "Drinking Liberally, Anchorage." Our goal is to bring active members of the community together once a month to meet each other and hang out. We also try to have a spotlighted issue or speaker each month. Usually they give a 5-10 minute presentation about something going on in Alaska or the local community. It's a very informal group, but there are many people who care deeply about helping the people around them.

I was wondering if there were someone who might be willing to come and talk about Christa's Angels, and tell a little about Christa's story at one of our upcoming meetings. We meet the third Wednesday of the month, starting at 7pm, though our speaker's usually don't give their presentation until closer to 8pm. Our next meeting is February 17, and the one after that is March 17. If this is something that one of your representatives would be interested in being a part of, we'd love to highlight this cause.

Thank you,
Heather Aronno
Drinking Liberally, Anchorage
